Diarrhoea Dark Green Bile w. Flu Like Symptoms and Sweats Posted: 11-22-07 05:03am
Hi
For 7 days now i have had diarrhoea and
ive had enough! It started off as flu like
symptoms and the sweats and chills then
stomach cramps and then just turned into
diarrhoea. I was hospitalised as i was
dehydrated and was let home the next day.
We are awaiting the stool results .
It has now turned very watery, bile
looking and dark green. It doesnt matter
what i eat, the diarrhoea is the same. It
smells terrible but looks even worse. Its
startign to worry me as it really doesnt
look right.
Must add my husband has had diarrhoea but
just 'normal'. I was also in hospital last
week for an operation, do you think I
could have picked up something there?
Excuse the typos i have a 5 week old baby
in my arms!
thank you

I've experienced watery stools in the
context of dysentery, which was confirmed
via a stool test. What were the results
of your stool sample?
Also, I'm wondering what could make a
bowel movement turn green? Did the
doctors have any ideas?
