Q: Mouth Itch - Allergy, Stress Or Condition?

For the past two or three weeks I've been experiencing mouth itch - affecting my palette, around the exterior of my mouth and sometimes my throat. It comes and goes.

Could this be an allery? Could this be something else? Stress, perhaps or something more serious? I keep reading/hearing about mouth itch as a symptom of anything from oral yeast infection, viral infection even to cancer. Any ideas?

Thanks,

When do you usually have this symptom (after eating certain foods)?
Have you noticed swelling of you face and mouth?
Do you have other medical problems?
Do you take medicines?
