My dad recently married a woman who seemed to be a great person. My dad has always had issue with alcohol but has never been known to hit anyone, just ask his 3 ex-wives. He was married to his new wife for 2 months when she one night up and called the cops when my dad was out in the motor home drinking and said she was being beaten. She had this HUGE black eye.

Needless to say, my dad went to jail and I bailed him out. She then turned his motor home in to the banks (he was behind on payments). He had a no contact order. His wife lured him to lunch and eventually back to her house where she tried to "commit suicide" by taking a bunch of prescription pills (she's a nurse, by the way). My dad called the police, he was arrested again, she went to the hospital.

I bail dad out, he stays with me. Then she buys a fifth wheel (trailer) and a truck and says "Here is your home away from home." Within a week or two she set up housekeeping and stayed with him. He called me one night saying that she was acting sooooo strange and it seemed as if she WANTED him to hit her. A few days later we grabbed all his stuff and left.

About a week went by and she turned in a sworn statement, had his bond revoked and now he is beign held without bond.

I failed to mention that after the first time he went to jail, we got a call from an ex husband of hers warning him that he is in danger. I also failed to mention that she tried to "commit suicide" twice with that ex. Come to find out my dad is the 9th or 10th guy to go to jail for her. Her mom, in an interview, when asked how many boyfriends have gone to jail she said, "As far as I know, all of them." Her mom is on her side in court every time.

She and her dad are now claiming that everything my dad has is stolen. She claims he ran up a bunch of charges on a credit card. I think these two just skin guys and toss them aside over and over. THEY KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT!!!!

When I went out to get some of my dads stuff, they let us (my friend and I, my dad was left at a Hardees) get a computer and a few other things including my dads van. Minutes after leaving they called claiming that either me or my friend had stolen her dads wallet! They made a police report and both my friend and I were called, no big deal, no charges. The wallet supposedly reappeared on her porch with no money in it.

When the motor home was turned into the banks, my dads wallet, laptop, tv, and dvd player among other things were gone. SHe said she didn't know where they were. When he stayed at her house after all this, he found a ton of his stuff tucked away in drawers. She claimed her mom took it all.

I have been trying to piece this together. Her dad was in town when the incident occured. Come to find out, he was in town when it happened to the last guy. I think her dad is abusing her. Unfortunately he is a millionare and she probably doesn't want to burn that bridge. Not to mention she is REALLY screwed up in the head. I think there might be some incest or something beyond just hitting going on. MY DAD WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING LIKE THIS!!!!

In either case, it is now 4 or 5 thousand dollars later and he is back in jail held with no bond. I don't expect any solutions or resolutions but THIS IS A SERIOUS MENTAL ISSUE WITH HER!!! Is there any advice out there in dealing with a person like this????? We can't afford to know this lady any longer!! She deserves years and years in prison but she just keeps on getting lawers and winning these battles! My dad will have 2 of his ex wives and 2 of her ex husbands in his corner. That sounds like that would make a big difference but if you've ever been to court then you know that you have to leave logic outside the courtroom.

ANY ADVICE, INFO, EXPERIENCES, COMMENTS, WHATEVER would be appreciated!!

PS My step mom won't tell my 13 year old brother what is going on. He knows my dad is a good guy but she does all this reading with parenting books and she had the nerve to campare this situation with violence on TV! Don't you think my lil' bro deserves to know what is happening with his dad?
