Can't Seem to Type Anything...
Posted: 11-20-07 22:57pm

so yah... I guess I'm not to sure why i decided to join this forum thing, but at the moment it seems like it could be a good idea...

so yah...every time i type something i just delete it so this isn't really going anywhere...

I always thought if I was given the chance I could let out everything that has been bottled up inside me for so long ,but now I see that it's basically impossible for me to actually put down in words what I want to say...

well I'll post this anyway...I know I havn't wrote about anything but I've been vainly trying to make my own post for 20 minutes now and I'd be even more mad at myself if I didn't end up even posting anything...

now I'll see where this goes...

Hi, Shake. Thank you for taking the time and courage to come onto eHealth. You will find that we're a very accepting, judgment free group. Everything here is anonymous, so anything you share with us won't go any further. Additionally, you can private message any of us supporters or moderators if you feel you want to talk more privately.

Don't be afraid to private message me if you want to talk.

Props to you for coming on here though. It's a pretty big step. Don't be mad at yourself that you didn't post what you wanted to. Be proud that you came on here in the first place! Smile

I don't think you are alone. I think everyones first time here is somewhat a timid one. There is not big rush. We are all here for you when you are ready. Most new members are so use to being on other boards where you are bashed or just down right rude too on other boards. I will tell you, this is not the way we are here. We are all here because we are going through similar issues and need help. We are probably the nicest group I have ever come across. And I have been and ran myself many boards. Here you don't have to be afraid to let whatever it is out so we can start giving you some help and advice. Like marvel said, if it would make you feel better to private message a Supporter, then feel free to do so. Either way, trust in people takes time. And if it is time you need, you got that here.
Just remember, we are here and very devoted to helping you and others through whatever it is that is bothering you. We want you to feel at ease here and not feel you are asking something far out. There is nothing far out on this board. Go through some of the topics and see who needs help in what. Might make you feel a bit better.
You just took you first step and posted. Wink

Carrie

Take all the time you need! We'll be here.

**and woo hoo to there being another Canadian on here. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who sticks around! I'm an Ontario guy... I just moved back to London from Ottawa, and soon I'll be in Toronto. I LOVE the snow we're getting!!

shake, I hear ya. I have to walk to work tonight, and Southern Ontario just got walloped by a storm.. I won't be able to feel my appendages. I'm in the excited stage right now, but give it three months and I'll be cursing.

Snow

I use to have a house in the mountains. I had first moved in on June 7th. I decided I didn't need heat yet. It snowed that night. The next day I was scrambleing for my heater to be connected. I loved it there. In the winter, I would get up in the morning, and my water glass would be frozen. Time to dig out the berm from behind my car. I learned how to drive 10 miles of winding, icey, slick roads to my work, which was 2,000 ft below me, without chains.
Dag Gummit, I miss it. Crying
or Very sad
