Birth control will NOT alter a pregnancy test.

The pregnancy test directions are ON THE BOX - written out in plain writing as to exactly when and how to take the test. It really is quite easy.

Why are you taking birth control if it isn't preventing... oh, I don't know... BIRTH? Seriously, birth control is for preventing pregnancy. You are protected while taking it.

How can you have pregnancy symptoms if your period isn't even late?

If you are pregnant enough to show signs of pregnancy, a pregnancy test would be positive.

What pregnancy signs do you have?

Pregnancy symptoms are not an accurate way to diagnose pregnancy. Only a pregnancy test can diagnose pregnancy. If you were far enough pregnant to be having those kinds of symptoms related to pregnancy, a pregnancy test would be positive. Meaning, what you are feeling are not related to pregnancy but probably something else. Those kinds of symptoms don't generally happen until after you have missed your period.

If you are concerned about the effectiveness of your birth control pills, use condoms in addition to the pills.
