If you really think about it, we really all have good reason to be depressed and stressed out.
Look how hard it is now days to find a job. Use to be you just need a high shool deploma to get a pretty decent wage for you work. Now your lucky if you have a master degree and able to find a half way decent job that will pay you enough to just get by. Where it use to take only one person to run a houshold, it now takes two.
Our economy is up and our pay stays the same. I can't remember when I did work, the last cost of living raise I got, it's been that long.
The goals that use to be so easy to achieve, now seems so far away and hard to reach.
I sit here and wonder why depression is on the rise and these are some of the reasons why.
So many of us are single parents, just trying to make ends meet. Some of us have no real skills to make a good wage. Some of us are disable depending on the government to support us tell we die.
Is it a wonder why depression and stress is on a roll.
Kids growing up now have a hard road to walk. Funds for univerisities etc.....who can afford then anymore?
I get depressed just sitting here thinking about all these things. Well they ever get better. We are up against a world that is leading us to so much stress in the work place and being over worked. We come home and snap at the first person we see when we open the door.
Such a shame, it really is. Driving us all to take medications just to deal with everyday life.
