Hi everyone...

I was in a car accident about a year ago....and I kept complaining of my shoulder, but I had horrible doctors and they would not listen to me. So, here I am, a year later, found a good doc, and find that I need arthroscopic surgery to check for labrum tear. I wanted to see if anyone else had these symptoms....

1 - I don't have pain all the time, its with certain movements

2 - It's right in the front of my arm (that crease by your armpit and bicep)

3 - It seems like it catches (it doesn't pop when this happens)...but its incredibly painful when it catches.

4 - Upon stretching, it will pop at end ranges (sometimes painful, sometimes not)

5 - My physical therapist was working on it one day, and she pressed on that area and I screamed....it was very painful.

If anyone has any input it would be fabulous! I just don't want to have the surgery if it is unnecessary.

Thanks!!!!

You definitely sound like you have a problem shoulder. Have they not sone an MRI? This can tell you how much damage has been done to determine if surgery can help you.
