My husband has rls and was perscribed requip. He is a recovering alcholic and has a problem with additctions. The requip is not working for him. Any advise on how to treat this at home would be great. We both really want to get some sleep.

thank you

Extremely eHealthy
Requip is the first medication approved by the FDA for the treatment of moderate to severe cases of RLS.
Does your husband find it not helpful or he is bothered with its side effects?
Is your husband anemic?
Does he take supplements with Vit B group every day?

Requip
The side effects of Requip are not worth any benefit you gain. Th side effects are life changing, and not for the better. I would suggest seeing another doctor and asking for a different regimen to get over the RLS - one that is worse than what it tries to treat.
