i have been displaying these symptoms for slightly over a week now, and they are very severe. i thought i was overdoing everything so i have slowed down a bit, not gone to the gym, relaxed more and more, but nothing is making me feel less tired - no amount of food or rest. im also getting dizzy and lightheaded in a random fashion - sometimes when im resting, sometimes when im at work. my doctor said it was probably a viral infection and im waiting a few days for blood test results. but until then, can anyone tell me what im sick with?

im a healthy 17yr old girl - i eat well, rest well, exercise.

Hypothyroidism, or a low acting thyriod gland can cause fatigue, weakness, lethargy .. have you looked into this possibility?
