December 4th is my next prenatal appointment and I will be around sixteen weeks. I probably won't be one of the lucky ones who find out the sex of their babies early, but I'm still getting my hopes up and I can't figure out why!

It's really getting to me when I read and hear about other people finding out what they're having and I feel like the wait is just too long. Sad

How far along were you when you found out if your baby was a boy or a girl?

I don't personally have any kids, but I know that my mom actually found out at 16 weeks with my brother, and she wanted me to be a surprise so she didn't know about me until I was born

Michelle, didn't you find out during your third trimester? I think it was you who posted that it was around a month before you had her.

I don't see how people can wait to find out what their babies are. I would die!

i ended up being a tomboy baby since my mom didn't want to know my sex until I was born and my brother was born first. all of my clothes were either a neutral yellow/white from the baby shower, or blue because they were hand me downs. my mom even gave me a mohawk when I was a baby. the pictures of me when I was young are pretty amusing.

sometimes its not up to them Smile
its up to the dr and stuff
if you dont find out at 16 weeks they might make you wait to find out until later on

it depends on the dr

I found out about a week before I had her, I was 37 weeks! She would never cooperate so we could tell, she was either turned the wrong way or was sitting on her legs. It was so frustrating!

At the visit where we were supposed to find out, Kyleigh had her legs crossed. They told me it was probably a boy because her heart rate was steady around 130. I think girls usually are about 160ish.
I found out the day before she was born that it was a girl.

At 16 or 17 weeks he said he couldn't promise it was accurate because it was still so early, but that he was about 70 percent sure it was a girl, and he was right! So it is possible.

Good luck, hope you are one of the lucky ones : )

Holy moly! I thought it was around 32 weeks that you found out! You must have had to cram so much shopping into that last week, haha!
