i am 22 years old have used ibprofen, steriods, ice, heat, muscle relaxers, pain killers, there is no cure. talked to my dr, dentist. considering going to an ent or nuerologist. the pain is unbearable. TmJ interferes with my life and keeps me from doing my job as well as i can when i I am well, way too much. the pain goes from my jaw to my head to my ears eyes neck and back it is awfull. You have to be strong: people don't usually understand. keep it under control as much as possible and try your best to stop tmj from ruining your life. If you have at least 3 good days a week your doing good mke the best of it. Having this tmj pain for 5 years it is worse every year but i hope with all my heart it disapears forever. sorry to ramble on but it stinks.
