hi im dale, im almost 15. My problem is that when i put quite a bit of pressure on my hands eg. push-ups, pushing i get a sudden click right in the middle of my left or right (cant remember) hand which really hurts. So in PE when we are doing exercise training or something and we have to do push-ups i look like an fool because im in pain when im doing them and i cant say any excuses because people will just think i cant do push-ups..

anyway thats my problem, what shall i do?

I used to get this, and still do sometimes. Try repositioning your hands; they might be either too close together or too far apart, too high or too low.—Make sure they are a little wider than the shoulders and at the same height as your shoulders. There’s also push up bars but I doubt that’s worth the trouble just for pe class unless your teacher has some lying around.

If that doesn't work then you could try talking it over with your pe teacher after class. I had friends that wouldn't do push ups in class. If it hurts then you probably shouldn’t do it anyways, especially if it’s just pe class. And normally people don’t question it if you say you have wrist problems- or at least I never did.

thanks a lot, i had 2 double lessons of pe today and we did do excercise training - just my luck - when we were at the push-ups section i got through it fine by just making my hands into balls.

That works too. Very Happy

I must be a wuss because I was never able to do that. One of my coaches once suggested I go on my finger tips and that didn't work out so well for me either. I couldn't do it! XD

Glad things went well for you though!
