Well last month in October I skipped my period so took 5 different test and they came negative. The last week of October my boyfriends condom broke when we were doing it. I went to go buy the plan B pill (the morning after pill) but before I took the pill I took a pregnancy test because I might still be pregnant from last month but it came out negative again so it was ok for me to take the pill. This month I was late again with my period!!! I called the doctor so she could see and I made the appointment for this Nov. 19 but the Saturday before my appointment I started my period. I told my mom and she said that she never knew when she was pregnant because she never came out positive when she took the pregnancy test. Could I be like her? Could I still be pregnant? Should I still go to my appointment on Monday? Please help Crying or Very sad

If you took 5 different tests when you missed your period and they were all negative then you weren't pregnant.

You do not need to take a test before taking the morning after pill as it does not affect an exisitng pregnancy but taking it can mess up your cycle. If you had your period (and negative tests) then you are not pregnant, your mum not having positives is not common with pregnant women as hpt's/blood tests detect hCG, a hromone that is alwys produced during pregnany.

I agree that taking the plan B does affect the cycle, but home test do give false negatives. The main reason for this is if your hcg is lower than it should normally be. This is not the norm though. It's only a possibility. Chances are that you are not pregnant. Condoms break so often; you may want to start using a spermicide foam with the condom.

Especially eHealthy
when takein correctly a hpt will be acurate
only few times are they false
so if they were neg after your missed period your most likely probably NOT pregnant
