Could you please advise me whether I can have a Cortisone injection via CT Scan into Lower Back. Are there any risks involved to my heart because of this stent. Confused

Epidural Injection - Stent
Hello Billyjack,

Welcome to this forum.

It would seem best that you speak with your doctor about this. I would suggest that you speak to both your cardiologist and your neurosurgeon.

Regarding the epidural injecrtion with the corticosteroid, my doctor used a flouroscope to help him guide the needle to the right spot. I have not heard of the use of a CT scan to do this. You may wish to check on this.

Have a GREAT Day!
