Q: Does Salba Work Or Make It Worse?

I'v heard of Salba. Chia..Does anyone know if this helps hypoglycemia or causes? Any opinions from anyone that has tried it or knows anything about it would help a lot. Thanks. V

It is like the chia pets...it is the chia. Apparently there is alot of talk about it really helping diabetes. It has omega 3's in it and no gluten. I'm not allowed to post a link but there is a ton of info on it on the net through google.

It is suppose to release a steadier pace of insulin. It was on msn's opening page the day before yesterday. I guess it's a grain?

Hmm, I've never heard of it really other than when you said chia. If you sprout it like that, it should be fine, not sure about it as a grain, they seem pretty inedible that way anyway.
