Q: Bcp And Condoms?

I just got my first pack of birth control pills and I start them on Sunday. Is it dumb to keep using condoms? My boyfriend seems to think so and even though I don't really feel like budging on this, I just want to know if it’s smart to do or just me being overly careful for no reason. Thanks

No it's not dumb. Its not something you have to do but it is extra protectiong against more than just pregnancy. Good for you for being careful and just stick to your guns if it's something you want to continue, it is your body!

It's not necessary, but it's not dumb. Lots of people use condoms as a backup to birth control If that's what you feel you need to do, then do it!

However, many people use only birth control and are just fine. It is about 99% when you take it well. It's up to you.
