First of all dont blaim your upbringing please... it was your personal decision.

BUT without stressing... if you have missed your period go purchase a pregnancy test. You dont have to be 18 or anything and you can get them at any pharmacy/drug store... if you are truly insecure about doing that make a gyno appointment (if you are sexually active you should be having them yearly now) and you can discuss the need to go with your parents simply stating you want to learn about your body and they can test you for STDs and pregnancy... or you can go to a clinic (planned parenthood) without the involvement of your parents and be tested...

however if you are pregnant... and choose not to get an abortion on your own... you immedietly need to dscuss your pregnancy with your parents and go from there.. DO NOT hide this... DO NOT blow it off...

I think a 14 year old is still a child, personally. She probably was raised by the wrong people.

I agree she needs to get a home pregnancy test right away. Hopefully she has a friend who can drive.

About telling her parents, we don't know anything about them. What if they are abusive? What if they kick her out? Maybe another trusted adult would be better, if that were the case.

If that's not the case, then of course tell a parent.

yes 14 is still a child... however without being nieve... the majority of 14 year olds now adays are being sexually active whether with a boyfriend or just because with anyone...

so no blaiming upbringing is not okay...

We do not know this child's family. How do we know if they are competent parents or not?

I never once had a "sex" talk with my parents and I had a very positive upbringing...

NO MATTER WHAT she could have parents who were coccaine addicts and murdered people and were in and out of jail and she could be an effin preschool teacher...

your upbringing and your personal moral decisions are opposite!! you can choose to be negative if you have a negative upbrining or be the opposite and do opposite of how you were raised.

There's no bus or a clinic within walking distance in many towns in America, like mine.

My Advice
Go to the Clinic, find a planned parenthood, Your 14 ......you need to sit down and think about what your actions may have caused and what are you going to do about it? Also tell a responsible adult.

Yes, there IS a thing where no one can get a bus or walk in America: it's called widely spaces towns, a lack of public funding for health care, and a severe lack in efficient public transportation.

Sounds like my town. No public trans, one small expensive taxi cab service, no planned parenthood (closest over 50miles away) etc. Not every town has many options to get around without a car. My town is not to bad if you live inside the city limits because you can walk where you need to go. And at least we have a small hospital in town people can go to. Where my mom and sister lives its worse. They don't even have a hospital in the whole county. They have to drive to another county just to go to a hospital.
