Is this true? Today I took of my rings from my hands and all the fingers that had rings on were discolored to blue gray color in place of where the ring were on my hand. I talk to my mom and she said that it is because I am not getting enough sleep.

I have been wearing these rings now for more than 10 years and this usually does happened when I do not get enough sleep for like 3 days in a row.

Is this problem caused my me not getting enough sleep or if not, why is this happening to me?

Do you suffer from insomnia?
For how long you have sleep deprivation?
Have you noticed finger discoloration other times, too (when you get enough sleep)?
Do you feel strange sensations in your fingers?
Do you often find your hand and fingers cold?
Do you have breathing problems?

I don't know if I have insomnia.

I can not sleep during week, I usually catch up on the weekends. For some reason when I am ready to go to bed at midnight I am not able to fall asleep. Last night, the last time I checked the clock it was 2:15am and I have to get up at 7:30am to work. This week has been the worse one. My husband is on a different schedule, he goes to sleep between 2 and 4am and sleep's in to 11pm. I sleep with a fan on so I do not have to hear him downstairs making noises with cupboards, plates or what ever noise he is making. On weekends I am able to sleep in and usually with out an alarm I will sleep 11 hours. This does not happend every week, but usualy I have about 3 bed days during week day all in a row that I can not go to sleep on time or early.

When I do get enough sleep I do not have any finger discoloration. Looks to me like if I get below 7 hours for about 3 days that is when it starts. I have the marks againg today. Now tomorrow I can sleep in so it should go back to normal.

I have no stragne sensations in my fingers. They do not feel any different, they just look wired and I have to take my rings of to wash them, so people do not ask me what is wrong with me. Than when I put them back on about few hours later I have marks again.

My fingers and feet are cold first before anything else, but right now they are warm.

I do not have any breathing problems to my knowledge, however I do have a stuffy nose right now from a cold.

No I do not have any impressions on my fingers when I remove my rings. It goes all away and it takes another 3 hours for it to start slowly appearing. Than after like 4.5 hr is quite dark.

Do you find the color of your fingers changed when are in touch with cold water, cold surfaces or exposed to cold weather?
Have you noticed that before the fingers turn gray blue they are white?
Do you suffer from heart or lung diseases?
