I am doing this course for school, it's called peer tutoring. Basically I go into a younger grade class and help the kids every day. I do it in the help center last period of the day, which is where they send the bad kids and the kids that are having trouble with their work.

Another part of the course is that we have to pick an organization within the community that we are passionate about and raise awareness and funds for it. I picked our humane society, so I have to set up a meeting with the director there and set up my fundraisers, or whatever I decide to do for them.

The thing is, I cannot think of any fundraiser ideas. The ones I have is to raise awareness within the school, and get some students to help me run a bake sale and a lunch for the students and teacher and donate that money. I think this is a pretty dry idea though, and would like to do something "bigger".

Could you guys please help me with ideas for either raising awareness or funds? One of the things that limit this is that it's winter here, so it's too cold to have an outdoor event.
