So Monday night I ended up in the ER. My lower stomach was hurting to the point it made me sick.. The ER dr's took blood and did a pap and said they didn't see anything wrong Sad
She told me it could be : early appendicitis(sp).. but unlikely
Ovarian cist .. But they look ok
Twisted overies ... but the pap was normal
Or my body changing.. etc.?
She did not have much of an answer but to take pain meds and if it continues to go back to the ER. I am not due for my af for another week or so according to Fertility Friend. Yesterday I was off so I was able to rest. But now that I am back at work standing I am getting pains in my lower stomach again Crying or Very sad .
The best she did tell me was concerning my Mitral Valve Prolapse.. Which is not what I was there for Evil or Very Mad
Do any of you have advice? I am at my wits end..

Your pap smear isn't back yet. They send it to the lab, it takes longer than 2 days for that to come back. And a pap smear won't tell you anthing about twisted ovaries.

So they did an ultrasound to see your ovaries? Did they also do some pregnancy testing?

Have you gone to your regular doctor for follow up?

I don't have a regular Dr. and The ER Dr. Said she was going to do an ultrasound but didn't. They did a urin test.. and it came back negative.. She said that I could be prego but it would be too early and if I experienced any bleeding to come back in.

They can't truly rule out cysts then if no ultrasound was done. Nor twisted ovaries.

Since your period is a week away, of course a urine test wouldn't be positive. I can't believe if they thought you may be pregnant they didn't do an ultrasound and a blood test.

You should find a regular doctor to see and follow up with.

Yeah she said they could only rule out a few things that there was not much that she could help with.
They ended up giving me a mild pain med to ease it some but I don't know .. Sad

Do you think my dh could have hit something in there to cause this?

Had you recently had rough sex? Yes, sex can cause your cervix to get ouchy. But not like you are describing the pain after standing, etc.

Why don't you have a regular doctor? Who does your pap smears usually? Who do you see for other illnesses?

I see you are trying to become pregnant. It would be a good idea to find an ob/gyn BEFORE you actually get pregnant. You should also be taking prenatal vitamins now. A pre-pregnancy appointment is a GREAT time to get to know your new doctor!

No not rough sex.. normal but I made him stop cause it was hurting. Then the pain just got worse.. Even when she did the pap.. the duck thing (sorry don't know the name of it) hurt.

I haven't found one up here yet.. or haven't looked. The last pap I got was just before I stopped taking the pill.

And usually unless I can't take it I just take care of myself.. I have issues with dr's and normally if I get a cold or something I just take dayquill and sleep it off.
