Memory Loss! And I'm Just 18 Posted: 11-13-07 22:15pm
Hi,
I am female freshman in college, 18, and I
forgot very very basic things lately: such
as what a parking lot is called while I
was in it, and what chilibeans were
called.
background: no one would call me stupid,
in fact they would call me smart, but I
have had suicidal thoughts because of
instances like these, where I feel as if I
can't function in life if I can't
understand it - the most important thing
to me in life is understanding it, being
smart at the very least.
* also, I am quite good at remembering
numbers, tasks, and images.
It's just basic stuff; I also pick apart
sentences until they don't make sense.
This behavior has beein occurring within
the last two years.
Thank you!

Alzheimers doesn't begin to appear until
much later in life. However, you might
want to get a neurologist's expert
opinion. The brain is a sensitive tool
that many doctors still don't understand.
So, I'd seek some help if you think it's
becoming habitual.
