First off -- considering my husband won't even drink one beer or disobey the traffic laws, I doubt this is going to happen. But ... since you asked ....I don't have kids so I think I would join some humanitarian/missionary effort. It also depended on what he did to get there. If it was on the lines of homicide/rape/incest/drugs -- I would probably seek a divorce. If it was something like a self defense where he got charged with the homicide / hit someone who he didn't see in the road ... Then I would be faithful but not hang around home and cry either.

It would depend on for what reason . If it was somthing bad I would divorce him and move on.. If not, I would stay married.

It depends on what he was arrested for.
Pedophile... Would never talk to him again.... On MY daughter-I'd be right there in jail because I'd KILL him.
Something like burglary, I would get over it.

I'd stay with him unless if it was a terrible act that hurt me or someone I care for

Simply...and straight to the point...I sought of agree with you.

Only, when reality strikes, what we say we will do and what we actually do are completely different.

I don't know. If the act that got him in was completely against his character, if it was self defense or noble in some other way, then I might stay loyal. I'd fight for early release, too.

If it was anything else, then bye!!

Well for someone to go to jail for 30 years it would have to be a pretty bad crime. Unless he was wrongly convicted. Which i don't know if i would ever know. Maybe sometimes you just do. But if he wasn't and he went to the slammer for 30 years i would have to say i would move on with my life. Or i would have to have a life time supply to the nearest adult store Wink LOL

I would prolly stay faithful for several years until the reality of 30 years would sink in, then I'd finally get the courage to make a new life for myself. It really all would depend on the situation of course tho. I would also consider becoming a lesbian. Being with my man for 9 years and only being 25 leaves me a bit nieve and in experienced not to mention dependant in some ways. It would take me a long time to handle the situation and decide what I would need/want to do.
