Q: Vaginal Rash - itches like crazy w/some fluid

I have had a rash for about 2 of my cycles on my vagina in the horseshoe area that sometimes affect the very bottom going towards my anus as well. When I pee, it stings the area that is itchy and irritated. The first month, it hurt to have a tampon in, like my vulva skin was too dry and it rubbed it the wrong way. I thought that it was a yeast infection, so I got a one day treatment, and it went away after using the outer cream on myself for a week. It came back about a week later. So I treated myself with a 7 day treatment and again, it went away but came back. I have had my husband look at it, and he says that its just red and irritated but doesn't notice any blisters or anything. For a while I was thinking it might be my fabric softener because I had recently changed it, but I have since switched to Tide free and I still have the rash and my vagina and going near my butt is the only place I have it.

I have noticed that I have runny vaginal fluid, but I do not smell bad, like fish or anything. I can have sex, but it hurts after a while. It itches like CRAZY.

Please help! This is driving me crazy.

not that it matters, but i do not have health insurance and don't believe in using hospitals as my own personal ER because 1) its expensive, and 2) it takes time away from someone who really needs medical care.

I would like to try to trouble shoot before spending a bunch of money on a doctor because i'm incredibly poor and don't have medical insurance.

excuse me.
