Me and Baron are the steryotypical high school sweet hearts.

We were both daiting other people when we met, but I knew the second I saw him that "I will have his baby!!" LOL!! Cheesy!!!! I was very stalker-esque! I even changed my schedule to be in ONE of his classes!!

Low and behold, we started dating and whaddya know?! I'm having his 2nd baby!! AND we're married!!! LOL!

ooh lol long story.
we met thru a friend i went to college with.
Rob lived here.. i lived in Tampa.
Seth tells me one day, *I know somebody that i KNOW will be the perfect guy for you. Only bad thing is he lives in Illinois.*

So..
I called Rob.
We talked every night for 8 months.
I got into a fight with my mom one evening (after many) and Rob got tired of hearing me cry, so he said, *i'll call u back in a minute.* and i got a little mad that he'd hang up while i was crying.. well he called back, said *U got a pen and paper?* and i was like, uh.. ok.

and thats when he gave me my flight number and time, a confirmation number, and told me i was leaving the next day to fly up to be with him, that he couldnt take me being so upset anymore, and wanted me to be happy.

^_^

We've been together ever since.
almost 4 years later... still going strong.

ahhaha that made my morning remembering that.

Thanks Dani. ^_^

I was his "dorm mom" (RA) at U of W. He hardly made eye contact with me at first but would say the funniest things in front of people. I couldn't figure him out. I thought he was either gay, stuck up or had Aspergers. We became friends. I convinced him to go to Peace Corps (he needed to more social skills and life experiences). He ended up going to Malawi for two years; I went across country for grad school for a few years. He came back moved to PA for graduate school. I moved to AZ for internship and job. We met up again as friends and things slowly happened....extremely slow. He moved out to AZ because grad school wasn't working out. We got married two years later.

awe karin, you guys did it the way your suppose to lol
through college and the peace corps.. What a awesome story to tell your kids.

Sandy, how cute is your hubby!!! flying all the way to see you, I love that

Danni, I always think high school love is adorable. My parents met in High School and have been married for 29 years now, together for 35

Brian and I met at a bar lol.
I walked by him, he hit on me and I didnt even notice but my friend thought he was talking to her. I was in a relationship at the time so nothing happened for 5 months (he waited patiently because he was too good of a guy to hit on me while i was with someone else) Then I found out my ex had cheated on and got someone else pregnant, Brian started emailing me the next day. His mom said she was there when he found out I was single and he yelled out in excitment. We started emailing back and forth and I was living in OK at the time. He called and we talked the first day for 13 hours the next day for 12 hours. I knew I was going to marry him from that moment. I left Oklahoma and drove to California to be with him the third day we were talking. He talked to me the whole drive (21 hours!!)
I drove straight to his place and weve been together ever since.
He said he knew he was going to love me from the first time he saw me.
He knew we would be married and he knew we'd have babies. He told me the other day Im the only girl he's ever wanted and the only one he'll ever love.
Ahhhh I miss him now Smile

Thanks Danni.. this made me happy, I love remembering those first days. When your so in love you dont think anyone else has ever felt the way you do about that person.
Sigh.. i miss my husband lol

I had just broken up with my boyfriend of a year. He'd gone off to college and cheated on me. My friends had a really hard time getting me out of my depression, so one day one of my besties was like "Okay I'm tired of listening to you complain about (asshole). I'm going to find someone new for you." I wasn't anywhere near ready to be in a relationship and I told her so, but thank God she didn't listen to me. Her boyfriend at the time was one of Aaron's best friends, so they introduced us. He was NOT my type at all. I'm usually more into jocks or skater boys. (Well, he's a skater boy, but a nerdy skater boy.) But he's the best thing that ever happened to me. Our first official date was May 20, 1998 (we saw Godzilla at the theater Laughing). And the rest is history!

Shane & I are high school sweethearts too! We met in 9th grade homeroom, he actually started talking to me because he wanted me to get him hooked up with another girl in our homeroom lol. None of that worked out & we started talking everynight online for hours, that following August we made it official! We were together from then up until our senior year when we broke it off for a little while. We were both had jobs after school & trying to keep up with school so we didn't have a whole lot of time for each other. But then about a month later we got back together. After we graduated he left to go into the Air Force, was medically discharged in September so he came home & we moved in together in his grandma's basement apartment. Things didn't work out after we moved in together, for a bunch of reasons. The big one being there was 1 window in the basement & we were both grouchy all the time. It was like we were living in a dungeon & we took everything out on each other. (Yes I think sunshine through windows & sunshine in general makes people happy lol). We ended up breaking up not too long after Christmas in 04, he dated another girl, I dated another guy, & got back together AGAIN in November of 05, then found out I was pregnant in January of 06 & it's been nothing but good ever since (With a few rough patches here & there!).. Not sure if we'd be considered high school sweethearts since we did break up a few times but yeah Smile

Blind date. My stepsister worked with my husband at the time and she set us up. Our first official date was to a Dierks Bentley concert at a local bar. Things went so well that after 6 months, we moved in together. Six months later, he proposed and six months after that, we were married. We have now been together for almost 4 years; married for 2.5 years.

aww, i love reading everyone's stories!

mine is lame. he messaged me on myspace on halloween night '04 (which was a sunday), we emailed back and forth every night until the following friday when i was getting ready to go out. i told him he should meet me at the club i was going to, totally thinking he wouldn't show, but he did (knowing him now i can't believe he had the balls to go). we had our first official date the following tuesday (nov 9) and have pretty much been inseparable since then. i kept my apartment but basically moved in with him in january, we were engaged in may (total surprise that i didn't see coming), and moved 3000 miles away together in june.

it's only been 3 years but it feels like 10.

Me and Neil were kinda college sweethearts. My best friend at the time was dating his brother and said i should hook up with Neil cause we were both 'wierd' and liked the same music. She set me up on a blind double date with him and we were together for 6 years and married for 4. Lol.

With Robbie I was aquaintances with his ex. We knew eachother through the goth scene. so I've known him for a few years but only met him a handful of times.

Ok this is going to sound very bizarre, but bear with me..

I always tell people I met Jonny online, but it wasn't actually an internet thing.. it was a text message chatroom thing, created for Big Brother 3, in 2002. He had a silly screen name so I sent a message saying I liked his name, & we just kinda got talking.. if I didn't have any credit on my phone I'd just sit & watch that thing all day & "I miss you Zanny" messages would just randomly appear =)

On the night of the BB final, he sent me his mobile number, disguised in code (you couldn't send private info to each other) & I texted him for the first time.

5 years, & millions of text messages later, here we are.. about to move into our own house, with our 1 year old daughter.

I can't wait to be done with the whole long distance thing Very Happy
