I suffer from a chiari malformation had 2 decompressions I've been able to manage headaches with tylenol, warm packs etc. for the last 2 years but the last 3 days going on 4 now I've been having a persistent headache with discomfort in my chest having palpatations and tightness. Could this be from stress because Im going thru a nasty custody battle with my x husband..

Are these symptoms accompanied with flu like symptoms (coughing, fever)?
Is this chest discomfort felt as chest pain?
Do you find it to radiates to your jaw, left arm, or between your shoulder blades in your back?
Have you experienced any sweating, nausea, dizziness,or shortness of breath?

this morning I woke up sweating and yes I've been having pain in my back it feels like its going straight down my spine. My neck is pretty stiff with some crackling noises. I find that I have to catch my breath.

If This Were Me
I would seek medical advice when you get a chance. Almost sounds like severe anxiety attacks. These symtoms are not unusual with it. But, as I say, I would see a physcian to get a conclusive answer.
Let us know how you fair out OK. And yes, this could be from what you are going through. My heart goes out to you. This is not an easy time for you and your might need a little more help then you realize.
