I have a feeling its gonna be a boy (and so does everbody else) but I want a girl... I cant wait! 19 more days!!! They told me to drink 16 oz. Of water a half an hour before the appt, my mom told me that its because with a full bladder they can see the baby easier cuz it pushes it out or up or something... Does anyone know why they are doing this and what they are looking for, and if it will make it easier to see what sex it is?

I have two names picked out. It would eighter be isaiah (means god's salvation). Or jeremiah (means god exalts), not to sure what wxalt means. My son's name is elijah (means jehovah is god).

I like the idea that their names end in ah, and I did not do it on purpose that they are all religious names. I always liked brandon but it sounds ugly with the last name. Not ugly, it's just that it kind of rhymes, so I don't want kids to make fun of him when he is in school. You have to think about these kind of things, before you name them.

Lol... Ok...Should I drink more than that then to make it even better? But it sucks cuz they said im not gonna be able to go pee before the ultrasound cuz they need my bladder full, so they are gonna be pushin around on my full bladder...Lol im afraid im gonna pee my pants! My mom said she almost did but way back then they had to drink twice as much cuz the ultrasound machines werent as good as they are now.

I dont even drink anything and they can never tell the difference! Laughing usually they will let you pee after they get the important measurements but it will be uncomfortable until then!

Yes we plan to name him dominic eric. (eric) is his daddys name and we thought while dominic is young we could call him nick. Nick is my dads name. Anyway, I still hope he's a he. I go back on the 26 of this month to make sure he is still a he lol. I am almost positive though cuz of his u/s pic I just hope it wasnt the umbilical cord I dought it though. ~ erica.

No my doc didnt schedule this appointment to make sure. I see her every 4 weeks and the u/s tech is in on mondays and wednesdays. When I was in there last on wed, march 24th (when I found out the sex) the u/s tech told me that when I make my next 4 week appointment to make it for either a mon or a wed and that she would take a peek real quick be4 I seen the doc just to double check for me, it will prolly be the last time I get an u/s until my last weeks of pregnancy. I was 18 weeks and 1 day when I found out. She just wants to check again when ill be 22 weeks just be more positive so she can get a better look since he will be more developed I guess. ~ erica.
