Q: Camera Question

I just got some pictures of Dallas off my digital camera and in some of them he has black spots on his eyes and/or nose. It's not like this on my camera though. I don't get it. Is it something when they print or do I need to get a new camera?? I haven't even had this one for two years yet.

Also, does anyone know if you can buy camera cords. I can't find mine anywhere and I really want to post some pics. I have to scan them though and that takes foreverrrr!!

Are the spots appearing on the computer or when you print? If they are really small they would be hard to pick up by looking at the screen on the camera. I have noticed that sometimes I see abnormal stuff on my camera screen but then upload it to the computer and they are not there, the camera usually does a post picture adjustment. You might be able to photoshop them out. Test the camera...clean the lens with a lens cloth... then get a white sheet of paper and take a pic of it.. if the spots are there then you probably have dust on the photo processor.... this might come off on it's own or it may not. Another thing it could be is if you dont have dust on it , is the data transfer to the computer... those areas may be corrupt or something

Yes they do sell cables.. Circuit City or Best Buy.... most cams are universal as far as cables... I lost mine a few months back... I was screwed though... mine is a propietory cable... would have cost me 50 bucks... I found it though... phew....

If they are only visible when you print the picture than I bet you it's just a little ink splatter from the printer. I've gotten a weird blue dot on a picture before that way. If you don't see it on the computer screen, than most likely if you print it again it won't be there.

there should be a tab on your printer controls that has an option to clean the jets on the printer. run it and also do a printer check as well... this should clean it.
