uterine anomoly (uterus is deformed) + woman problems
Posted: 11-12-07 10:02am

I saw another post about being new so I thought I would make one too. And -- Everyone requested a "story" and I like telling people about myself so why not? LOL !

First off -- I am 25, newly wed, and planning to TTC a year from now or so (If I'm feeling anything like I am now this time next year, I'll probably want to put it off until AFTER Christmas !)

I have a uterine anomoly (uterus is deformed). I visted my OBGYN a week ago and told her we wanted to TTC next year and wanted to know if anything needed to be done before that. She recommended I go see a Reproductive Endocronologist. She called him up and he suggests surgery and HSG (Camera inside there) as well as a dye test thing. All of this is scheduled for December. (I have already had an MRI to confirm the anomoly). I've had lots of advice on what to do (seeing a surgeon instead of a fertility doctor/questing the diagnosis .. etc.) but I am going to just wait until after the appointment with the RE before questioning him.

I currently have an IUD (which I found out was a bad idea for someone with an anomoly .... ) and it will have to be removed for the tests the Reproductive Endocronoligst is going to do and then we plan to start practicing FAM. And .. I have a latex allergy ...

And I have a skin problem caused from reoccuring yeast infections where the skin is thickened. They burned it off with lasor (OOOW !!) and that did no good. So now the dermotologist is treating it with topical steroids and zonolon and a probiotic and diflucan.

Is that enough? !! .. My "Woman" problems create a rather long list! Thanks for listening!
