I think you're doing a wonderful job as a parent. You're taking time to raise your child and from the sounds of it, you're doing a great job. If your daughter ends up calling him dad, there's no harm in that if she feels comfortable enough to call your mate dad.

It sounds like you're doing a great job! You've made it this far on your own! :] If she calls him Dad someday then it's perfectly natural because she would see him as a Father figure since he's the only one that is around. If you're uncomfortable with it then kindly explain to her that he is not her Daddy, of course she may not understand and carry on with calling him Dad for a while, but someday she'll get it :]

im sure you are a good parent. i would like to share with you what i did.
when i was in my mid 20's i dated alot but didnt want to put a bunch of men in my son's face, so i didnt. my son knew nothing. i told the guys ive dated if you last a while then you can meet my son. i was having a hard time finding a guy who was serious.
another story that is connected to this one is. my aunt would let one guy live with her and her two son's. she would break up with the guy, and move another man in her house that weekend.
long story short at a cookout in front of the whole family her grown son said "my mom had a lot of men, a lot of men" he doesnt even have respect for her. he watch how men treated her.
so be careful who you allow in your household.
