I've recently noticed brownish yellow pigmentations on my nose.

My father had similar marks on his nose that were diagnosed as a non-malignant form of skin cancer. The only difference is, his were scaly and rough, whereas mine are completely smooth and only barely noticable...

Do you have any ideas what this could be? Is it possible that it's a malignant form of cancer?

Are these pigmentations small circular colored spots?
Do you have fair skin?
Have you experienced repeated exposure to sunlight recently?

Yeah. They are smallish (about the same diameter as a pea) brown/yellow spots, and yeah, I have quite pale skin.

I spend six months in Thailand recently and it was very sunny most of the time. What do you think this could be?

Do you have them for the first time in your life?
Are they spread below your eyes, too?
