My cousin has had throat cancer and was treated with radiation and the cancer seemed to be in remission. However he began to have a sore throat and trouble swallowing. They have done several swallowing tests and he has failed each one. He also has trouble breathing. He is now in the hospital with hole in his trachea and no one seems to know what is causing the problem. When he does swallow the food or fluid goes into his lungs. I was wondering if anyone can help me. He is scheduled for an operation to insert an feeding tube into his stomach on friday.
Thank you,
