Period During Pregnancy ? Chance of Miscarriage ? Posted: 11-11-07 06:34am
ok me and my husband have been TTC for
awhile now and i was hoping that this time
was it.
My husband is in the marines, and we
wanted to try having a baby before he
deployed.
we made love only about 10 or 11 days
after my period had just ended, and we
made love, alot mind you, just to be sure.
its been about 12 days since, and i cant
really understand the timing, but it
really felt like i was pregnant. I had
felt differently than all of the other
times that we tried.and to my
dissapointment, i started my period
yesterday. 3 days early and now i am
wondering if i was preggo to begin with or
maybe we missed it. before my period i
have been running to the bathroom, and
felt nauseous, and i cant stand the smell
of certain things, i am wanting to go take
a pregnancy test just to be sure, and go
see my doctor just to be sure, but what i
REALLY wanna know is that have any OTHER
ladies experienced these type of symptoms
during their pregnancy? and if so how did
it work out?
i know that there could be a chance of a
misscarriage thats why i wanna know so
quickly.
soooo.....? any help ladies?please?

If you have a 28 day cycle having
intercourse on day 10 or 11 of your cycle
is a tad early. So really how long are
your cycles?

I don't want to burst your bubble, but
I've been in your situation before. We
had sex around my fertile time (if you
indeed have 28 days cycles or somewhere
close to it you can get pregnant from
having sex between days 10 and 15 in your
cycle) and then I ended up having my
period FIVE freaking days early and it was
lighter than normal... I didn't even use a
tampon, I just kept running back and forth
to the bathroom wiping to see if it was
still there. It turned out that I'd just
ovulated early that cycle (and ever since
them my ccles have been shorter - 24 days
instead of 2. I'm sorry to tell
you this, but that was probably just your
period. If it was "implantation bleeding"
(which happens in a very small percentage
of pregnant women) it would have been more
liked a spot or two of tinged or streaked
discharge and no red blood at all.
It WILL be okay though, hun. Soon enough
you'll have your husband home and can
really start trying to conceive. Don't
feel bad though... getting pregnant really
is harder than high school health classes
make it sound

i just dont see how people who want babies
so bad cant have them
and the ones that dont just give them
away.
i would kill to have a baby with my
husband,
i would give my left foot to have a
little bundle of joy of my own.

Yes, it totally matters. Those whom are
TTC usually keep track of thier cycles to
further thier chances to catch that egg.
It takes a healthy fertile couple approx.
1 year to concieve. How long have you been
trying?
You might wanna start keeping track of
cycles from now on.
