For those of you who have had kids, what worked the best for you while you were trying to get back into shape. What exercises did you find to work the best with toning your lower body area (hips, stomach, thighs, & butt) ? I can't seem to shed the pounds from that area. I look kinda funny cuz my upper body is skinny again, and I have tooth picks for arms, but my lower body still has some baby fat. Also, if you know any diets that work...I'd like to hear about those too. :p

I have what they call the classic "pear shape". It really sucks. I have a big butt and thighs basically. Do crunches really help with tummy toning? I've heard they create a "pouch" of fat that you can't get rid of at the lowest part of your stomach. I've heard so many things I dunno what to believe.

I would say biking and walking would take some of it away...I wasnt trying to loose pregnancy weight at the time but I had that problem and I started biking to all of my friends houses instead of trying to find a ride and I got rid of the flabby-ness... It didnt get too much smaller but it turned it into muscle instead of fat so it looked ok.... I have really skinny arms and I had a really skinny tummy but my thighs were huge and my butt looked kinda flabby. Biking really works them muscles in your thighs and I think it affects your butt too, burns lot of calories too Laughing

Hey, well one time when I wasnt pregnant I was taking metabolife I think it was. Ephedra free. I wanted to take trim spa but I couldnt find it. I took those, ate alot less and went to jog at the gym. For about 45 min to an hour. I lost a few pounds but I lost more inches. It looked good. I did that for about 3 weeks and no one wanted to join me anymore then I met jose and had a busy life so I stopped. Oh and I played tennis. It was fun and you get more energy. You should try that. Trim spa works good though, im taking it once im done being pregnant and breastfeeding.
