A few day sbefore halloween my son threw up at night then the day after halloween night he did again, At first i was thinking maybe to much candy even though he had hardly any. He acts totally fine during the day. But then every 2-3 days he will throw up at night, after ive put him to bed, i get him up in the morning to find out he puked in his bed again. A few days after halloween he got diarheea its not constant maybe 3-4 poopy diapers a day. So then i was thinking a food allergy but he hasnt had an change in his diet. Last night he threw up ,in his bed, tonight he did the same but i heard him and had to bathe him etc. Then i got to thinking, i just got a cat around the same time that he has been getting sick. So i was wondering if there is anything that would cause this random vomiting only at night and the diarhea. i feel bad he has such a bad rash from the pooping. I just ugh , i was about to drive to the hospital tonight but i couldnt get a hold of my friend to watch my daughter because its soooooo cold and snowy and wet outside so i didnt wanna drag both of em to the hospital. Bit i dunno it jus tmakes sense to me about the cat theory. But i cant seem to find anything online.

i know people can get toxoplasmosis and cat scratch disease, but i dont know if either causes those symptoms.

try googling toxoplasmosis and also cat scratch fever.

its not taxoplasmosis... my dad has that... it is a close cousin of malaria (its also a parasite)... it is blood born and you have it for life. My dad is blind in his right eye because of it.. and it doesnt show up immediately... you have it for up to years before it shows itself. It can be picked up by playing in sandboxes where cats have gone potty (that is how my dad got it). This is why they say for women who are pregnant to not be around cats too much.
