I started taking yasmin a month or so ago. A couple weeks after taking the pill i started spotting and though its nothing that is flowing or anything like that, it is annoying and not very attractive. I started another pill right after the first one, and the spotting has still continued.

I see real evidence.....after sexual intercourse. It has happened twice now, where i have had sex, and there's all this stuff. But apart from that, no flowing.

I must also mention that due to work i am extremely stressed, which may also be a contributing factor.

I just want to know if this is normal.....and when it will stop. Can anyone advise me?

When you FIRST start taking birth control, or switch to a new method, the first 1-2 months can be very spotty.

It is 100% normal to have breakthrough bleeding and spotting while on the pill.

This is not due to stress, this would be due to the hormones, and your body adjusting to the balance.
