Weight loss can be normal in early pregnancy. What does your doctor say about it?

Not necessarily. Are you at all overweight? Were you very sick during the first trimester?

You do need to put weight during pregnancy (though how much depends on your body type now), and now's the time to start getting very serious about it. You burn many extra calories while you're pregnant so you need to change your eating habits to accommodate that.

You should have had an appointment recently (around 20 weeks?) did the doctor say anything to you then?

Maybe make an appointment to make sure everything is fine, and remember to keep on top of your prenatals.

I lost 15 lbs in the first 4 months, and I've put that back on, plus another 25 lbs. Just talk to your doctor, he/she will be able to either help you with your eating habits or send you to someone who can, or he/she will be able to see if there's something wrong.
