27 Week Belly Pics!
Posted: 11-09-07 18:31pm

So, it's been about four weeks since I posted belly pics. I thought since I was home doing nothing I would try to take some pictures.

Here I am at 23 weeks:

Now 27 weeks today:

Sup Stretchies! (In Krissy's words)

And here are a few things of Brina's that I wanted to share with you guys.
Here is her comforter

Her going home outfit

And her diaper bag that Brandon's aunt made us. I love it!

The pics aren't great but you can definitely tell I've grown. I have a feeling I'm going to have way too many stretchies. I knew I was going to get them though. They must just run in the family. My mom got them and I got them when I was younger just from going through a major growth spurt at 13. Please comment! I like to know I'm loved! LOL!

Thanks Bridget! I've got to get her room started this week. I've got almost all of the stuff for her room. I guess I will get Brandon to prime it Monday so me and my mom can start painting. I forgot to mention that I am officially in the third trimester today! Yay! I can't believe it.

Yeah, my belly like doubled in size. I'm afraid to see how much weight I've gained when I go back. I go back when the day before I'm 30 weeks. I had gained 13 total by 24 weeks. I hope I haven't gained too much this time. I need to start being more careful.

I know what you mean. I'm not eating quite as much as I was though. My acid reflux has come back since she's gotten so much bigger. I'm eating a little more than I did pre-pregnancy but not as much as during the weeks of like 22-25.

The top half of the room is going to be a sky blue color. Then, there will be a border in the middle. It has flowers and butterflies as well and all the colors that the comforter has. The bottom half will be pink, green, and lavendar striped (all pastel). Then I'm going to paint some clouds and stuff on the top half. We're going to have kind of a garden theme I guess.

I think that sounds really pretty. You have to take pictures when your done!

I could never do anything like that. I am not creative (or talented) enough for that. Embarassed

Thanks guys! I really love to paint when it's something I want to do. I wish I could paint murals and stuff like that. I can make a wall look pretty but I can't draw worth a penny. I think if I feel okay tomorrow I may try to start priming her room. Don't worry I will keep the windows open and not overdo it. If I start feeling bad I will lie down.

Your belly is so cute! I really love the bedding that you picked.......it is so girlie Smile And that diaper bag is beautiful. My aunt got me one in Shanghai, China and I really love it because it doesn't look like your typical diaper bag. It has a really pretty floral print on it, something that you would never see here. Hopefully I will get pregnant sometime soon so I will be able to put it to good use...lol His aunt should go into business because she really does a great job!

Yeah, the church gives all first-time parents a baby shower. We'll probably get so much that we won't know what to do with it. I'm not sure when it is yet. I'm guessing either December or January. I'm hoping december because in January I'm probably gonna be so miserable that I won't feel like finishing up shopping. My sister-in-law got a shower with their first and she said she didn't have to buy diapers for the first few months, so that def sounds good to me. I'll also be getting lots of clothes from my sister-in-law. She just had a baby girl about five weeks ago. She bought lots of clothes and was given a bunch as well.

His aunt does have a small out of home business making purses and whatnot. She's really talented. She also knitted a little hat for us. I would love to have a diaper bag from China! I'm a huge fan of oriental culture.

That is really nice of your church to throw baby showers like that. I'm sure you will get everything you need.

And that is great that you will get all the hand me downs. Have you seen your niece a lot? It's probably great practice.
