Am I Pregnant...?
Posted: 11-09-07 10:22am

My fiance and I have been active having sex for the past couple of weeks. We have always been careful, but since this was a recent thing for us, I didn't have birth control, but we ALWAYS used condoms. There was one time in which we did not use a condom, but he pulled out before he came. That was about a week and a half ago since we did that. Now, I am only a few days late from missing my period, and my breasts are very swollen and heavy, but those are my only two symptoms. Typically, when my period is about to start, my breasts are swollen and large, but I will usually feel cramping a few days before my period starts as well. There is nothing. Please help me, because I am ignorant in this area. Should I wait a few more days before I pick up a pregnancy test, or do I have nothing to worry about? Is my body just reacting differently to having sex more frequently than I have ever had it? What do you all think? Am I pregnant?

*** I am new to this site, and I accidently posted this in General Q&A as well...I will try to delete it if I can...sorry for the duplicate.***

If your period is late/missed, then it is an okay time to pick up a pregnancy test. It is possible that you are pregnant, but the chances aren't extremely high since you were using protection. It is better to test and know either way just in case, though. If your breasts feel sore the same way they do when you are expecting your period, my guess is that your period is just late or off schedule. Are you experiencing anything else in life right now that is stressing you out and may be causing your period to be irregular? Good luck, I hope you get the results you want.
