Q: Im Back to Find Some Answers

Last night I started spotting a little. It was a streak of light pink blood with alot of clear gooey cm. I never had this with Amelia or the pregnancy before her. Now this morning Im still having what feels like period cramps. But I been having them for a week or so. Everytime I look this up on the internet it brings up things about early miscarriages.

What I really want to know is did you have this early in your first trimester and you still had a healthy baby?

OR Did you have this and wound up miscarrying?

Thanks for answers!

lots of women spot in the 1st tri. They usually recommend to stay away from sex ...It is usually caused by that because the cevix is being irritated and poked at ...(lol)...I would call your dr. and have him examine you.

we havent had sex since the night we conceived. I cant go to the doctors yet because I have no insurance. It doesnt kick in until 1-2 months. Joeys work changed their insurance.
I want to go so bad but the bill will be huge.

How far along are you... about 5 or 6 weeks? Spotting in early pregnancy can be very common.

Have you been to the doctor yet? You should call your doctor and possibly get an appointment to put your mind at ease.

Im 5 weeks and so many days (3 or 4). It worries me because I didnt have it with the others

I done a pee test yesterday at our CHD to "confirm" the pregnancy so I can get a slip to go see my ob/gyn but the insurance thing is whats kicking me in the butt.

No it won't. Gah! Your 'bill' shouldn't be much more than around $100 to go SEE your doctor. People make healthcare out ot be incredibly expensive - but you aren't having MULTIPLE tests done. YOU ARE GETTING YOUR PREGNANCY CHECKED.

Also? Doctor's offices make payment arrangements. I'm sure you could afford a few dollars a month.

The only free clinic we have is the County Health Department and I never heard of them taking blood or anything concerning miscarriages

they dont do blood tests for this sort of stuff.

like ingi said it it common this early on.

Although it is recommended that u see a dr. there really isnt anything he can do for you ....You'll have to wait it out and hope for the best.

My doctors office doesnt do bill arrangements thank you very much. Done checked!!! Ive done been through this before. Going to the doctor without insurance for a miscarriage. $700 dollars. They had to do ultrasound, blood work, and other things. You dont have to get an attitude. I just posted what I know!

They did blood test to check the count with my first pregnancy. Come to find out I carried my babies 5 weeks after they died. My body couldnt expell them natrually so I had to have a d&c.

I don't have an attitude. I get tired when people say how much healthcare costs. If this was important to you, you would find a way to make it happen. Apparently it is only important enough for you to come back and post to a board you quit 1 day ago because you didn't feel you were getting enough attention.

You should check into Joey's insurance, by the way, because a very lot of insurance companies will not provide coverage for a PRE existing condition. And your pregnancy will be a pre-existing condition.

yeah ive had that done as well but there is no indication of a miscarriage here . Spotting is not always due to miscarriage. They wont give you a blood test for some spotting unless you are high risk and have had 3 or more consecutive miscarriages. Don;t worry..just stay calm.

All insurance in Alabama provides pre-existing pregnancys. I already checked that out yesterday. It is important to me just nevermind. I come back here to ask questions not to get treated like caca. Thats alright tho. You have a problem treating people like that on here.

Yeah. GAH does mean that. I am fed up with people thinking healthcare is so expensive. It is expensive if you are having multiple tests and surgeries, etc, etc. But if you are going to go see your doctor and get checked to see if everything is OK, it is not that expensive. If you tell your doctor you don't have insurance, he isn't going to order a whole bunch of unnecessary testing.
