Hi,

I am 26 years old,got married last year in Dec 2007.
Since few months I notice that as compared to my left breast the right breast has shrinked.
This was not the case before.
I would like to know what could be the reason for this and can it lead to any serious problems or is normal and nothing to worry about.
Looking forward to hear from you at the earliest.

Thanks and regards,
Tanishq

Is this shrinkage to obvious?
Have you noticed before that you have slight breast asymmetry as all women have?
Have you been breastfeeding?
Do you feel pain in your breast?

Hi,
Thanks for that response.
Well i did not notice the difference before.
I noticed the same few months back.
i wanted to know what could be the reasons for that.
Also I am not bresatfeeding nor do i feel any pain but the difference between two is prominent.
But still if you can help me figure out the resaons for the assymmetry it would be great.
Also tell me if this is serious or quite normal and not to worry about.

Thanks and regards,
Tanishq.

Do you find the position of your right breast changed?

It may be common for one breast to grow larger than another (so one looks smaller), but it is very unusual for a breast to 'shrink' unless there is a problem with the breast.
A growth in the breast can cause the tissues to pull in or up and make it look as if the breast is smaller or more dense.

Please, make an appointment with your doctor.
You'll need mammograf and ultrasound to be done.

Waiting for your post!
