There is no relation between Hepatitis B and Thyroid disorders.
What's the size of the thyroid goiter?
Are you experiencing cough, a slight change in your voice, or nighttime choking episodes?
Was the the nodule noted as cold on thyroid scanning?

The nodule is cold and there are actually three of them. I am having surgery next week to remove them. No FNA due to size and symptoms. I am having blood pressure problems, pressure on esophagus and windpipe and pain and swelling in the large goiter area.

What are like your thyroid hormone levels?
Was the nature of the cold nodules (solid versus fluid-filled) determined by an ultrasound?

Don't worry to much!
Even among cold nodules, only a small percentage are cancerous.
