I had hip surgery last week under general anesthetic and can remember feeling like there was a pack of dogs eating at my thigh, I woke up and could feel my leg opened up and was in severe pain shaking uncontrolably it felt like i was about to die I lifted my head up and screamed abusive language you bast**ds what are you doing to me, with that I was injected in the left hand and woke up looking for a glass of water in the rcovery room, since then I have not been able to sleep and I am having regular panic attacs, I feel like im going mad, am I alone or has this happened to anyone else?

Anesthesia --- hmmm. I was only under local for my knee operation w/an epidural and some sleeping gas. But I did sense the pulling and tugging. But w/o pain.

Are you still experiencing insomnia?
