Q: Small Clear Bump On Roof of Mouth

I have noticed over the past couple of months a small, clear bump on the roof of my mouth that keeps appearing and dissappearing. It looks to be filled with a clear liquid. It looks almost like a small clear pimple. It is only about the size of a ball point pen tip. It is located on the roof of my mouth just slightly off center to the right. When I touch it with my finger, it hurts slightly. I was wondering what this bump is and if I need to have it checked out by a doctor.

This sounds like a recurrent herpes lesion, especially because it keeps reappearning. Have your dentist check it out.

Canker Sore
Sounds like a canker sore to me. I get them all the time, usually right after I eat. They are slightly painful and annoying but usually go away on their own after a little while. If mine happen to be in a particularly annoying place I always just take my fingernail and break it and then it instantly goes away and i'm back to normal Smile
