Hi im a 30 year old female who had scfe at age 11. I had both my hips pinned,Through the years I had little pain or complaints, Well about 2 years ago I started having a little pain and started to limp. Well now my pain has grown so much. My mobility to move my right hip is limited. Im a single mother of three and just keeping up with my daily house chores and kids is becoming so difficult. I no longer able to squat down like I use to , I cant even tie my right shoe let alone touch it. My hip becomes stiff after sitting on a chair for a period of time, And when I do stand up those first two steps kill me. I recently went to the doc. and told I had severe arthritis in my right hip. Now im scheduled to see a specialist and taking so many pain killers. Im wondering if anyone has or is going through this same thing. my best way to explain this is im 30 but feel like 70 years old....

Hip Arthritis
I am 33 years old and have osteoarthritis in both hips. I was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia at age 29 and had a scope to fix a torn labrum. I have since has 2 children and the hips are worse. I have recently lost a lot of weight - and that did not help. I went back to the doc and he sadi my hips are worse - with cysts and osteoarthritis. He told me that a replacement would be in the near future. I am also looking into a surgery to "reconstruct" my own hips - but recovery is long and my little one is only 7 months! I am also looking into resurfacing.
I understand how you feel. My doctor told me I had the hips of a seventy year old! I have a difficult time after I have been sitting. I can't walk right - and my hip is stiff and feels like it is giving out. I also fing it hard to get comfortablr in car or chair - always shifting to find the right position so my hips don't ache. I am still able to exercise - mostly walking. I am limping by the end of my walks though. I too feel like I am too young to have hip problems.
I am not sure what it is you had done - (scfe)?
