I've had friends bring me chicken alfredo, soup and casseroles. Anything that is easy to bake or you can get leftovers from. They all brought salads too but they never got eaten. I did love the added bonus of chips and salsa or cookies! Those always got gobbled up!

Good soup is a great bet (doesn't hurt the throat much and tastes good). Mostly right now I don't have much of an appetite, so little munchies are great too as it's not a full meal to try and eat when you're not hungry. Popsicles are wonderful right now as well. But if you're wanting to do a meal, I agree that soup and other soft type meals are great.
