I started taking the pill to get rid of acne and my cramps about a year ago, but now they are back to being just as bad as before and I am breaking out before/during my period. Does this mean I've become per say, "immune" and need to switch to a different kind of pills to get these under control again?

You are not immune to the pill, but as a woman, your NATURAL hormonal patterns change, and you may need a new pill to cope with cramps and acne.
