For the past 6-7 years I have had issues off and on. Pain/almost burning when I start to urinate and then it hurts a little less once going, sometimes last couple drops has red/blood tint. But it happens very randomly, one day it will be fine and the the next 3 days it will hurt every time I go and then not hurt for a week, just feels like a strong pressure instead of hurting. Also every once and a while I will have to go every hour for 1-2 days then its fine for a few weeks to a month.

I always figured it was a urinary track infection because I had one when I was like 10 and it seemed about the same symptoms but I have been too scared to go to the doctor since this started. Any ideas? Also i don't know if it has anything to do with it but I have lower back pain most the time but I have just associated that with my back being a little tweaked from a car accident.

It started getting bad again a couple weeks ago and I am concerned but still kind of freaked out to go to the doctor every since I did when I was little. and by the way I am a virgin so I don't think it can be any kind of std.

Its Okay
Sounds like a UTI to me. I've also had bad experiences with the doctor. I passed out from getting blood drawn. A calming and emotionally caring medical staff can help. After I passed out, I still needed to get 1 more tube drawn and a kind nurse talked to me while drawing the blood and it was over before I knew it.

It definitely sounds like a Urinary Tract Infection.

You have to see a doctor. I know it can get kinda scary... with a doctor poking and prodding down there, and blood tests and stuff. But just think: Doctors do this kind of stuff all the time.

What scares you about seeing a doctor?
