Well I'm 18, and recently found out that I am pregnant, i would have to say about a month? maybe even if that. I have been having cramps right below my bellybutton i was wondering what that could mean? and also i was wondering, what would be the best way to tell my parents about this?

Thanks.

The cramps are normal. Your uterus is stretching. It may feel a little like period cramps. If you have any bleeding, you need to go to the doctor or emergency room.

The best way to tell your parents is just to tell them. Have a 'plan' ready though because they will have many questions. Let them know what you plan to do - keep the baby, adoption, etc. Let them know how you plan to finish school. Let them know about your relationship with the father. It would help to have these things written down so you won't forget.

Expect that there will be a lot of shock and it could possibly come out as anger. They are your parents and they love you even if you are pregnant. They won't stay angry.

Good luck!!!

Well, what is your situation? Are you keeping it? Ending the pregnancy? Giving it up for adoption? Getting married? What does the father think, and has he told his parents? If he did, how did they react?

Are you in college? Your over all situation and future plans determine how to tell your parents, in my opinion.
