If a person is susceptible to nosebleeds, is it more likely that they will be susceptible to vascular defects that might cause strokes or bleeding in the brain?
I have a 12 year old son who periodically gets nosebleeds and I am concerned that if nosebleeds are caused by ruptured capillaries that he might have a tendency to having other small blood vessels rupturing in his body and if this happens in the brain then it could result in a stroke or some other serious condition such as aneurysms.
I would appreciate any advice from a doctor if possible.
Thanks a lot.
