A couple days ago my face started to itch, mostly around my mouth and chin...I originally thought it was cold sores, and didn't think much of it for the first day or two. But the itching soon spread to my nose and the skin became very dry. I started putting lotion on the dry areas which would help for a few minutes.
I woke up this morning with my eyes and the skin around my eyes itching like crazy. The skin where I am itching is slightly red and possibly a little inflamed but I cannot tell by looking at myself.
I went to the aid station (I'm in the military) and they gave me lora tab (generic claritan) for an allergic reaction without really looking at me at all. I took one at about 5pm today (it is now 12am) and the itching has not stopped. I now have a headache/pressure behind my eyes which is also driving me crazy. Not sure if the headache would be related at all, but it seemed to crop up when my eyes started to itch.
Can anybody offer any help???
(No I haven't changed anything about my diet, face washes, soap or anything else)
